I love creating recipes. I have been interested in doing that since I was a small child and my grandmother, Florence Beggs taught me how to cook. Little Grandma as we called her had been a pastry cook for a family in London, before emigrating to Canada in 1924 to marry grandpa. She was a really good cook who taught me the basics.
In my teens I got introduced to more international foods and flavours and over the years began to love Chinese, Indian and Asian foods more than English and North American recipes.
In my late 20's I began to realize many of my health problems were associated with diet and I also became appalled at the way animals were treated and slaughtered for us to eat. So I took the first steps into vegetarian eating.
I consumed far too much dairy - cheese and eggs - and my migraines escalated to the point of being bedridden for 3 weeks.
So I began learning about vegan eating. Not very successfully at first so I gave up. Then I'd get sick and go back to it and on the cycle went.
But over the years I have learned a lot about food, cooking adapting and creating recipes.
The recipes you will find under the various labels are mostly my own concoctions. I put together things I know I like, I add things I hope will give the required taste, texture and consistency I desire. Some are adaptations of someone else's recipe and if I know whose I will give them credit.
I do hope you will try the recipes, make your own adaptations and try your own creations; whether you go vegan or whole plant food eating should be fun, delicious and healthy. Look under "Labels" to find recipes.

"Eat, Pray, Love"
and do so delightedly.
